Shoot Eight - Straight Image

These two images are quite similar as they both feature a collection of bottles sat on the dressing table of the room. However, one has more negative connotations as the first image is of alcohol, whereas the second image is of hair products, deodorant and perfume. Still, I find both images interesting due to the use of colour as it really makes the objects in the image pop and draws more attention to them.

Both of these images are of the bedside table, however they are taken from different angles and so the focus of the two images appears different. With the first image, the focus seems to be on the red cup as this is the part of the image that pops the most. Therefore, this image could be focussing on young people's alcohol consumption. The second image, however, seems to focus on the table as a whole and represents everything that is there.

I enjoy this image of her bed due to the contrast between dark and light colours. On the bed, there are different shades of purple in her cover and pillows, which creates high contrast against the white of the wall, bed and fan. Another thing I find interesting about this image is that the pillows and cover seems symmetrical, however the bed itself and the fan prevent the entire image from appearing this way.

These two images show the girls beauty products spread out in front of a mirror on both her chest of drawers and dressing table. There appears to be a lot of clutter, however this is simply due to there being a lot of product on the surfaces. Also, in both images, there is drink sat on the surfaces, however in the first image this drink is alcoholic and in the second image this is just a bottle of coke.

As I want my final 40 images to look completely cohesive, I decided that having all of my images in black and white would help and so I edited some of these images to be black and white. Below are the results.
