Multiple Exposure - Image Bank

This image uses a two levels of exposure - one layer shows a close up of a man and the other shows another man in the distance, standing between two train tracks. The use of leading lines with the tracks and the placement of the man leads us towards the top of the close-up man's head. This could suggest that this image is a thought or a dream of the man's. The image could represent his need for an escape or adventure.

The two layers of this image show a young businessman - we can assume that he is a businessman from the suit - and a city skyline. City's can represent business and power, and so explains why this has been used in multiple exposure with the businessman image. The fact that the person in the image is quite young could mean that this represents the boy's hopes and aspirations.

The two exposures in this image feature a close-up of a woman and a scene of a beach, with a bird flying above. The way that the two photos have been placed upon each other puts the scene of the beach across the top of the woman's head - where her brain is. This suggests that this place is on the woman's mind and she dreams of being there.

This image uses photographs of a wolf and a forest in order to create multiple exposure. Wolves are often found to live in this kind of habitat and so this image could represent the animal and where it  lives. The fact that the setting is shown on the animal could also represent that where it lives is a part of who it is.

This image uses two shots of the same person - one of him posing for the camera and another one of him in action whilst skiing. This image clearly shows the person's love for skiing and so having an image of him partaking of this sport layered on top of an image of him represents how it is 'a part of him'.
